Costco accepts most returns without time limits, though there are some exceptions. Electronics have a 90-day return window. Cigarettes and alcohol may not be returned where it’s against the law. Airline and live performance event items, ticket items, precious metals, Shop Cards and gift cards are not returnable.

Since the beginning of the year, Costco has recalled different items across a variety of categories, including home, tech, auto, food and drink. These revocations span from window air conditioners and power banks to pressure cookers and mineral water.

As a chef, I love shopping at Costco, but there are some things I never buy there, like fruit, frozen salmon, and breadcrumbs.
