While Rafael Devers and the Boston Red Sox want to put the slugger’s departure behind them, a franchise legend is not letting go quite as easily.

The Boston Red Sox traded Rafael Devers away and certainly got a good look at him This past weekend in his new threads. Boston lost two of its three matchups against the San Francisco Giants and Devers launched a homer against his old team.

It was a fun weekend series for the Red Sox and Giants, who now get to enjoy a shared history. Devers' swing and his play will remind us.
