Quinn Ewers was in pain. He could not eat very much, if at all. He could hardly smile. And very little of it had to do with where he went in the NFL draft: Round 7 -- No. 231 of 257 picks -- to the Miami Dolphins.

While Ewers entered the draft with question marks, he also had an impressive resume. He finished his Longhorns career with 9,128 passing yards and 68 passing touchdowns. With Ewers under center, Texas won 27 games and made two College Football appearances.

The former Texas star expected a mid-round call—but found himself waiting until the very end. Now, he's ready to prove everyone wrong in Miami.
