Former Wales back row Jonathan Thomas has become the new head coach of Swansea RFC. The 42-year-old played 67 times for Wales and won Six Nations Grand Slams in 2005 and 2008, as well as playing in two World Cups.

It’s Page’s first role since he was sacked by Wales last June following four years in charge of the national team which saw him lead them to both the Euros and the World Cup. Liverpool believe his appointment can help enhance the pathway for young players from the club’s academy to the first-team set-up.

Former Wales manager Rob Page has taken the reins of Liverpool’s Under-21 side.Page’s most recent role was at the helm of the Welsh senior team, where he spent three and a half years from 2020.
