President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday directing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s board to end federal funding for America’s two biggest public broadcasters, National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service,

The president said the news outlets don’t present “a fair, accurate or unbiased portrayal of current events to taxpaying citizens.”
