Sportsbooks took a partial victory lap following the elimination of the Detroit Lions, Super Bowl favorites entering the divisional playoff with the highest handle and ticket percentage for most major operators in that futures market.

That is not the case. The new favorites to win the Super Bowl, according to BetMGM Sportsbook as of Monday morning, are the Eagles. At these odds, the Eagles are viewed as being about 6% more likely to win the Super Bowl than the Chiefs. The Eagles play the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game Sunday at 3 p.m. ET at home.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans in the early game to advance to their seventh consecutive conference championship game -- or every season Patrick Mahomes has been a starter. The Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens next week.
