The NASCAR Cup Series standings have been updated after RFK Racing driver Chris Buescher and his No. 17 Ford team were hit with hefty penalties ahead of the the All-Star Race weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Kyle Larson jumped into the lead of the NASCAR Cup Series points standings by way of the win at Kansas on May 11. Larson maxed out on points in the AdventHealth 400, sweeping the stages and earning the point for having the fastest lap.

There’s a bit of movement in the top 10 this weekend with the likes of Alex Bowman, Bubba Wallace and Denny Hamlin all getting wrecked. However, the front of the field was still largely dominated by the top NASCAR Cup Series points leaders.
