The Dallas-based carrier is adding two new routes as part of its schedule extension. The new routes are San Diego to Fresno, California, and Austin to Jacksonville, Florida.

The airline has just added more nonstop flights and increased service in key U.S. cities, including San Diego, Austin and Nashville, through November 2025.

Southwest Airlines announced it will increase service between Columbus and San Diego, Dallas Love Field and Orlando beginning in October. Southwest's options to San Diego will go from a Saturday-only and summer-only nonstop route to near-daily departures year-round, according to a Columbus Regional Airport Authority press release.
