President Donald Trump says he's directing his government to reopen and expand Alcatraz, the notorious former prison on a California island that's been closed for more than 60 years.

President Donald Trump on Sunday said that he would order the government rebuild and reopen Alcatraz, a former prison on a small island of the same name off the coast of San Francisco that once housed some of the most dangerous criminals in the country,

The President said he wants to restore the legendary island prison, which was closed decades ago and converted into a tourist attraction, to push back against “radicalized judges.”
