Jurickson Profar returned to the Atlanta Braves after missing the last 80 games for violating Major League Baseball’s joint drug prevention and treatment program.

ATLANTA — Jurickson Profar returned from an 80-day PED suspension Wednesday, did his first interview since the penalty was handed down four games into his first season with the Braves, and played his first game since that ignominious day.

Jurickson Profar will attempt to spark the Braves’ offense when he returns from an 80-game performance-enhancing drug suspension on Wednesday night against the Angels.
