Players are testing the new Darth Vader AI NPC in Fortnite, and it is clear that he has very strong opinions about certain in-game items and props.

Fortnite players can channel their inner dark side as James Earl Jones ‘ Darth Vader returns to the game. Players will be able to recruit the Sith Lord and be able to talk to him, he will respond with the help of AI. Epic Games and Disney have brought Jones back with the permission of his family.

There's been an ongoing debate surrounding the use of AI to bring a deceased actor's likeness to life. Jones, who's not only famous for his role as Darth Vader, but also as Mufasa in Disney's The Lion King, signed over rights to his archival voice, collaborating with the Ukrainian company, Respeecher.
