Tadeo Allende scored twice and Inter Miami tied the San Jose Earthquakes 3-3 on Wednesday night in Lionel Messi’s first game in the Bay Area since joining MLS.

After the match ended, Messi confronted Dickerson and voiced his complaints about the referee's decision, which could have helped Inter Miami's scoreline. The referee did not pay much heed to the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner's protests and almost immediately handed him a yellow card.
