The flowers—which bloom in late March and early April—are followed by shiny red berries in August and colorful foliage in the fall, making it the aristocrat of flowering trees in the South. Spot on the course: Dogwoods can be found throughout the landscape at Augusta.

Feb 11, 2024 · In less than two months, both players and patrons get to stroll the grounds of Augusta National Golf Club. The rolling hills and perfectly green fairways are lined by a plethora of flowering trees, bushes and plants.

Apr 7, 2022 · The hallowed grounds of Augusta National Golf Club were originally a nursery. In 1853, Dennis Redmond purchased the 315-acre property and named it “Fruitland.” He grew peaches, grapes, strawberries, apples and many other species of trees and shrubs.
